Which Stealth Bomber to choose? (T6)

Stealth Bombers are unique due to their ability to both use a CovOps cloak and also having a special activated mode which gives about 3x the optimal range. The Covert Ops cloak, albeit expensive, can only be equipped to select ships. It allows for warping while cloaked (or cloak while warping) and also does not reduce movement speed unlike the normal cloak.

Usually ships have different powergrid(MW) and capacitor(GJ) but right now all 4 factions’ stealth bombers have the same amount. Also note that those bombers are the only T6 or below ships to require an expert skill for the extra bonuses (which are negligent anyway).

The single best option right now for a Stealth Bomber in EVE Echoes:

Due to weird balancing, is the Minmattar’s Hound. It has the following benefits above the others:

  • Lower signature radius: you take longer for enemies to lock-on you.
  • Fastest ship velocity: bombers already have slow speed, this makes up for it a bit.
  • Higher scan resolution: you can target enemies faster.
  • Lower inertia: you can change direction faster (which may allow faster warp initiation)

What about the other Stealth Bombers?

Amarr’s Purifier can have higher scan resolution if you have a high level expert frigate command skill (you don’t) and it has a bit more HP.

Gallente’s Nemesis can have higher inertia if you have a high level expert frigate command skill (you don’t) and it has a bit more cargo space.

Caldari’s Manticore…. has a cool name I guess? That’s it, sorry.
