GOT Conquest – Armor Crafting, How to make the best armor and how to get steel

Armor Crafting and Materials

Hey there ladies and gentlemen, today we are going into detail about the Armor Crafting and materials within GOT Conquest. Game of Thrones Conquest armor crafting is based on 6 rarities, and armor that upgrades every 5 levels. In order to craft each piece of armor, you will need to consume quantities of multiple materials. We will explain each one of these steps below, and if you have time to watch our 5 minute video, we do our best to explain everything as clearly as possible <3

Crafting your armor

Your armor is crafted at your Smithy building. You simply select the option “Crafting” and it will bring up the interface. Your first tap is named “Forging” and that is where you can shift through the 6 subcategories to see your options for Helmet, Chest, Pants, Boots, Ring, Weapon.

All armor levels are in increments of 5, means your first level is 1, the next levels you can craft are 5, 10, 15 and so on.

In order to wear a piece of armor level 15, your Lord Level must be 15 or higher. In order to craft a piece of armor level 15, you will need consume a level 10 piece of armor. That also means you have to start all of your armor from level 1, and you can’t just skip to level 15.

Armor and Material Rarities

Armor and materials come in 6 rarities: White, Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, Gold. In order to craft exquisite Purple armor, you will need exquisite purple materials.

You can upgrade your armor from one rarity to the next by consuming 3 additional piece of armor that are the same level and rarity. If you have 4 blue weapons level 15, you can use the upgrade interface to eat 3 of the weapons, turning your remaining 4th weapon into 1 exquisite Purple weapon level 15.

The process for upgrading materials is the same, you will need 4 of any 1 rarity material in order to upgrade it into the next rarity. 4 white Logs will become 1 Green log. Fun Fact: To get 1 Orange Log you will need 1024 white logs. It takes a long time to get great armor, so I recommend building yourself a set of Blue or Purple armor while you farm for the more difficult rarities.

You can get forging materials and you can get steel from killing monsters, openings chests and completing the different daily events. Killing a level 12 monster will get you between 3000-6000 steel, and 2-9 quantity of multiple materials.

I hope this detailed guide helps you out, make sure you watch the video to really learn it perfectly. If you have questions come join us on the forums by clicking HERE! 🙂

  1. Can you give a general idea as to the best way to get higher level, better color gear as quickly as possible? Is it more beneficial to get better color equipment before getting higher level equipment or vice versa? Will better color equipment remain as that color even if you use it along with white materials to make the higher level piece of equipment? Thanks.

    • Hi Michael, thanks for your question 🙂
First – It’s a great idea to make high level gear of a decent quality to hold you over while you spend weeks making higher quality gear of the same level. What I mean is if you don’t have materials for purple yet, but you have alot of blue, make a blue set that gives decent statistics while you work on upgrading to Purple.
Second – you can actually create, for example, 4 level 20 blue pieces and merge them into 1 level 20 purple piece. This does require extra steel but the same number of materials
third – If you use a blue color armor level 15 and try to upgrade to a purple level 20 you will retain an inherent chance for your upgrade to 20 to go blue instead of purple. It is always a risk to use lower quality to upgrade to higher quality, sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

If you have any other questions come post on the forums so other members with same questions can see the answers <3 thanks!

  2. What wasn’t clear in this write up for me is that it is best to start with a level 1 of the quality you want to ultimately achieve. So if you want purple, start with level 1 purple ring/pants/shirt, etc. And as you upgrade, use the same materials. The level 5 item will consume your purple level 1 and you use purple materials to craft the level 5 item. This will give you a 100% chance of the rarity you want when crafting. If you can’t tell, I’m risk adverse. 😉

  5. Hi, in this case i kinda played the Russian Roulette mode by selecting yellow materials and I blue opal ring to forge a L25 Dothraki Promise Ring, hoping that the odds of rarity which happens in the past I got a yellow grade, but turns out i got a blue one and I am so frustrated right now i am stuck which I have to forge 3 more L25 blue equipment just to level up to PINK? It’s like a waste of gold, money and resoures… sigh

    • Hi @apollolancer78 yea sometimes you lose the gamble! I’ve been pretty lucky, when I gamble with 70% or 80% I usually succeed but every now and then it hurts lol
